Day 1

Australia Rome

Today depart from either Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth for Rome!

Please Note: Due to flight availability and scheduling, some customers may be required to depart on day 2 and arriving on same day.

Day 2

Rome

Welcome to Rome! Upon arrival, a private transfer will be provided. Your driver will be waiting for you at arrival hall to take you to your hotel and provide all the local information of the area you will be staying at and how to get around to the historic city centre (Normal Check in Time is 3:00pm).

In the evening, a transfer will be provided to the Trastevere area. Let this hidden corners of Rome take you away from the crowds and blend into this pretty neighbourhood, stroll in the narrow cobblestone streets, the colourful buildings dripping with ivy, and balconies enlivened with geraniums. Enjoy some typical Italian cuisine and bar hopping (at own expense) before returning to the hotel.

Optional Activities: Baroque Rome (Rome, Italy) approx. EUR35 per person - Enjoy the great Rome of Bernini and Borromini, the great baroque Rome with its beautiful fountains, squares, and obelisks. That Rome that the Popes created. We will make a complete tour knowing: Lungotevere, Ara Pacis, Porta Pinciana, Via Veneto, Plaza de España with its wonderful fountain of the boat and its staircase Trinidad de Los Montes, Fontana di Trevi where you can fulfill the rite of throwing your coin, Piazza Colona , Pantheon, possibly the best preserved archaeological temple of ancient Rome and we will finish in the extraordinary Piazza Navona. An important part of this excursion is done on foot, enjoying the center and heart of Rome.

 

Day 3

Rome

Get ready to explore some of the richest histories in the world today with a scenic tour of the “The Eternal City”. We will visit the tiny state of the Vatican. Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit the famous St Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums (own expense). And we have also included admission to the incredible ruins of the Roman Coliseum (admission included) the principal symbol of Rome. This impressive construction dates back to 2000 years ago and will transport us in time so that we can learn about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening, a transfer service will be provided to Via Cavour area, here you will find restaurants serving different cuisines (at own expense).  Return to hotel around 9pm.

Day 4

Rome Florence

A beautiful scenic drive in the morning to Florence. Upon arrival, you will visit the most famous lookouts for a stunning view of Florence - the Piazzale Michelangelo. Then followed by a city tour in Florence before Lunch. In the evening, enjoy an orientation tour with a local expert and walk through the historic centre and attractions including the Duomo, Piazza Della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio. Enjoy a free evening to spend as you wish (at own expenses). Approximate distance travelled today is 310km.

Optional Activities:

Vatican Museums (Rome, Italy) approx.EUR45 per person. You must bear in mind that on Sundays the Vatican Museums are frequently closed. We have organised a visit for those travelers who are more interested, accompanied by our expert guide majored in Fine Arts. We will visit the most outstanding rooms in the Vatican Museums: the gallery of tapestries, sculptures, paintings and other rooms where we will have the chance to see some of the most important works of art from classical antiquity and the Renaissance. The highlight will be a visit to the Sistine Chapel, stunning after a recent restoration. Lastly, visit the Basilica where we will admire the Pietà by Michelangelo, St. Peter’s Baldachin, and Michelangelo’s dome.

Tuscan Dinner (Florence, Italy) approx.EUR55 per person - Enjoy a delightful dinner immersed in the atmosphere of Tuscany. During the dinner, a group of musicians will provide ambience to this charming soirée. We will taste typical products from the region. Do you feel like savouring an extraordinary bistecca fiorentina? During the dinner, we will also enjoy live music. A Florentine pianist-singer will perform national and international musical pieces. You will have a chance to sing and dance!!!

 

Day 5

Florence Venice

After breakfast, we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes whilst crossing the Apennine Mountains to Venice. Arriving in Venice prepare to be awestruck this afternoon with an incredible adventure through the beautiful city canals on a local water bus (Vaporetto). A comprehensive tour with a local guide to see the architectural marvels of Plaza de San Marcos and enter the marvellous St. Mark’s Basilica (admission included) and enjoy a demonstration of Murano crystal blowing at the Murano glass factory. Relax this afternoon to explore the city at leisure. Enjoy a night of entertainment in the Mestre area (own expense). Approximate distance travelled today is 310km.

Day 6

Venice Innsbruck Kitzbuhel

Today we will travel across Italy’s longest river via Po Valley to Austria and arrive Innsbruck in mid-day. We will spend our lunch at this historic centre of Innsbruck. This afternoon we continue our journey along a panoramic road between the mountains to Kitzbuhel. Upon arrival, see this breathtaking little village and the well-known fashionable winter ski resort, here you can enjoy the snow throughout most of the year. Delving into this picturesque area at your leisure before dinner (dinner included with vegetarian option possible). Approximate distance travelled today is 480km.

Note:  In case of a small group, the journey from Venice to Innsbruck may be by train.

Day 7

Kitzbuhel Salzburg Vienna

Spend your day exploring this lovely and historic Austria. Enjoy our journey today with fantastic mountains scenery along to Salzburg, the city of Mozart. Join our guide to see the most beautiful streets of the historic centre of this Austrian city which declared is one of the World Heritage sites. Then on our way along with a very beautiful scenic stage in the Alps towards St. Wolfgang, a famous place of pilgrimage in Austria and continue to Traunkirchen along with the spectacular Traunsee Lake. Later we board on a lake cruise (included) to see four castles and disembarking in Gmunden. We will travel to Vienna afterwards and arrival at the end of the afternoon. Day 8

Vienna

Today we kick off with an orientation walking tour with a local expert at noon to visit this vibrant city and learn the fascinating stories of Vienna’s history. follow by Schönbrunn Palace where you can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful garden. In the evening, you will be transferred to the City Hall Square area. Why not indulge yourself and try some local cuisine such as schnitzel (own expenses).

Day 9

Vienna Budapest

You will be entering Hungary at lunchtime. Discover the wonders of “Queen of the Danube” as you savour the beauty of both Buda and Pest, which lie on opposite sides of the Danube on a two-hour discovery tour. You will be visiting the main sights including Heroes’ Square, the Parliament, the Opera House, and Fishermen’s Bastion. After lunch, enjoy a scenic river cruise along the Danube River ( boat tour admission included); enjoy superb views of the city and overlooking the Parliament. After the cruise you will have some free time to explore this beautiful city before transferred to Vaci Utca area for dinner (own expense). Approximate distance travelled today is 245km.

Day 10

Budapest Bratislava Prague

After breakfast, we will leave Budapest for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic centre. You will have a short city tour. After lunch, we will continue to Prague. In the late afternoon, a transfer will be provided to the Old Town Square. You will have time to stroll along this marvellous place and dine before you return to hotel. Approximate distance travelled today is 530km.

Day 11

Prague City Tour

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel you will be visiting the capital city, which is the Baroque jewel of Europe. Here you will meet a local expert who will provide a guided city tour which will start from the Prague Castle (admission included). As the Castle is on top of the hill you will walk by St Nicholas Church, Charles Bridge, St Vitus Cathedral and the Astronomical clock to the old town whilst being explained the fine history of these important monuments. The city tour takes about 3 hours and is a great one if you love walking. Later we board the romantic sightseeing cruise along the Moldava River (boat tour included). The afternoon and evening is yours to explore the city’s many attractions and have the opportunity to try out some local cuisine (own expense). Transfer back to the hotel around 8.30pm – 9.30pm.

Day 12

Prague Lauf Wurzburg Frankfurt

Leave Prague for Frankfurt today with a quick visit to Lauf An Der Pegnitz in the region of Bavaria, a picturesque little village which stands out for its busy Market Square and Castle. After this drive through the beautiful scenery en route via the motorway to Wurzburg located on the Main river. We continue the journey to Frankfurt after lunch. Upon arrival, enjoy your evening at leisure to explore the historic centre and return to the hotel for check-in after dinner (own expense). Approximate distance travelled today is 560km.

Day 13

Frankfurt Cologne Amsterdam

Kick off your journey cruise (boat ride included) along the romantic Rhine from Frankfurt and take in the UNESCO listed wonders of the Rhine Valley between the villages of Rudesheim and St. Goar. After this, you will travel to Cologne, a city which stands out for its immense Gothic cathedral. Then, continue travel to the final destination for today – Amsterdam. In the evening, you will be taken to Rembrandtplein, one of the busiest squares in the city with variety of restaurants. Approximate distance travelled today is 480km by road & 30km additional by boat.

Day 14

Zaanse Schans Windmills and Volendam Tour

Visit the authentic windmills a short scenic drive through the Dutch countryside to the village of Zaanse Schans. Travel the world-famous fishing villages of Volendam, we board on a short boat trip to Marken, an island that was united to the mainland by a fixed dyke, their characteristic wooden houses were built on stilts. We will have lunch before joining a comprehensive tour with our local guide. The tour finishes in the Museum Quarter, a diamond factory to see the diamond-cutting and polishing (ticket included) in Amsterdam.

In the evening, we will provide a transfer service to the red light district of Rembrandtplein, with its liberal values and its many restaurants nearby where you can try out a Dutch Cuisine. Approximate distance travelled today is 75km.

Day 15

Amsterdam Brussels Bruges Paris

We will leave for Brussels today and spend some time in Grand Place. Take a photograph stop at the Atomium, a landmark building in Brussels. Later we arrive in Bruges, the marvellous Flemish city known as the “northern little Venice”. After lunch (own expense) we continue our way to the destination for the day – Paris, France! Day 16

Paris City Tour

After breakfast, you will be taking a guided orientation tour to discover the history and monuments of Paris. Ascend to the second level of the Eiffel Tower (Ticket included) for a breathtaking view of the city and follow by a boat cruise (Boat ticket included) along the River Seine. Spend the rest of the day exploring the sights that interest you. In the evening, a transfer will be provided to “Quartier Latin”, the great dining atmosphere where a wider variety of international cuisines.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the heart of Paris near the area of the Louvre Museum.  A day at leisure. Spend time to explore on your own to the second largest Museum in the world - The Louvre or other attractions, if you wish we can accompany you to Benelux, one of the most famous Duty-Free Shop with luxury items, fashion accessories, perfumes, cosmetics, and skincare in Paris. At around 5.30pm we leave Paris for Rouen, visit this city with its houses with half-timbered walls, winding medieval lanes, gothic churches and the fine art museum. Approximate distance travelled today is 140km.

After breakfast, a little free time before we set off to the northern side of France. Arrive at the port of Calais where you will take a ferry crossing the English Channel to reach Canterbury, the religious capital of England where it was a pilgrimage site in the Middle Ages. This medieval centre with cobbled streets is surrounded by ancient walls that were originally built by the Romans. Continuation to London and arrive in the evening. Meet the area around the beautiful Tower Bridge, see it lit up and dine in one the restaurants of the area. Approximate distance travelled today is 360km.

Day 19

London

Our local specialist will provide a featuring tour this morning, get ready to meet London’s style, culture and its history. You are visiting the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of London, and we shall be able to watch the well-known ‘Changing of the Guard” at Buckingham Palace (subject to seasonal conditions). Enjoy your afternoon free at leisure and join us after with a traditional Afternoon Tea at around 5 pm. Have a short leisurely walk through Leicester Square, Chinatown and Soho in the evening.
